TRICARE West is the U.S. health care program for military service members and their families living in the western part of the united states. What Is Tricare West?

Prior to 2018, TRICARE was divided into three geographical regions (TRICARE West, TRICARE North, and TRICARE South). As of January 1, 2018, the TRICARE regions were divided into two geographic regions (TRICARE East and TRICARE West). These regions are managed by different contractors.

- Health Net Federal Services manages TRICARE West.
